Clinical Internship in Child, Adolescent & Family Psychology

Seven doctoral interns are matched to the program each year for a twelve-month placement.  The Psychology Internship Training Program at ICFH focuses on training doctoral interns in child and adolescent evaluation, treatment, and consultation.  The individual clinical skills, experiences, and interests of each intern are considered in carefully planning a program to provide training that is well balanced in major areas required for professional practice with children, adolescents, and families. 

In addition to doctoral interns, approximately four graduate-level practicum students are chosen for a one-year placement that begins in August.  These students are from graduate program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
