Infant Mental Health Training
The Institute for Child and Family Health provides an intensive training program for 35 Master's and Doctoral Level mental health professionals in the Miami-Dade County community who work with children ages 0-5. Training includes a focus on the essential elements of child development, caregiver-child relationships and elements of parenting training, as well as programmatic aspects of providing treatment to children of this age group. All participants licensed under the State's 490 and 491 boards receive continuing education credits for their participation.
